Those fellows who are studying in Us are mainly from rich and upper middle class families, and they are not certainly from Tapori class,
Hence my objection  to the type of Hindi used in the lips of USA returned..
And Any  language film with english sub titles, i have searched in my nearest library in mumbai i have not found them..
I am a gr8 fan of Satyajit Ray but that does not prevent me to say that one of his film "Chiriyakhana" is badly made movie. I am fan all right, but not fanatics

Dear Sunkan
In my opinion, the original is always better than the remake.
So the Kerala flavour is completely lost, when it was made in to Hindi.  Regional gaggs and one liners will not be the same when translated in Hindi.
Lastly the Language, One psychoanalyst from USA is using vocabulary of Mumbai Tapori.
Then what you have seen in Malayalam  is " Lost In Translations"
Lastly,  being a Bengali, how can i understand the Malayalam gags and one liner.

please do not underestimate him, see his malayalam version of the same movie which is too wonderful for words, played as the psycho doc by none other than mohanlal, and the presentaion of the dance is by a noted dancer of the south shobhana, and sridhar from the kannada kingdom who is also an exponent in dancing.

the one scene with the song of 'ORU MURAI VANDU PARAYO....NEEE ' is something made us see again and again.
the choreography is by shobhana herself.  i think the directors should stick on to their region not to loose their name and fame by going over to other languages....sunkan
